1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5

Description

1989 4Runner SR5 originally a 3.0 V6 that has been converted to a V8 5.7L 350 paired with a Edelbrock 1405 carburetor and a NV4500 manual 5-speed transmission. Has front and rear straight axles, ARB front steel bumper, MSD Ignition, ARB airlockers with in-dash switches (currently disconnected and capped), wired for on-board compressor, front mounted KC HiLites, winch, custom radiator with high speed fans, and aftermarket gauges mounted to the dash.

The soft-top is a Killer-Toy-Tops complete top with side window panels (in storage). No hard top.
Tires only have 1,000 miles on them.
New Edelbrock 1405 carb was installed with new fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, and new spark plugs in September 2020.
Serpentine belt, idler and tension pulleys replace in 2021.
4WD cleanly engages/disengages in both H and L.
True mileage unknown. The engine/transmission conversion happened in '98/'99 and the speedometer gear does not accurately represent correct speed.
I also have a binger full of the parts and work done for the conversion.
There is a rattling/chattering sound when in gear. It goes away when the clutch is depressed.
The output bearing to the front driveshaft when in 4WD needs replaced.

No A/C. The hookups are all there but it would need a new compressor and plumbing. Currently capped. Heater works.
The horn is not broken. I verified it functions by touching the wire to the battery. It does not work using the steering wheel.
The radiator fans turn on using the in-dash switch as seen in the video. When I got the 4runner originally, it had a Holley Pro-jection 4D fuel injection system that was finicky and eventually failed and was replaced by the carb. The computer controlled the radiator from the O2 sensor.
