Drinking horn, xl, hand engraved "Thor creates the tides" with wooden stand

In the great hall of Utgarda Loki, Thor faced many challenges. One such was a drinking contest in which he was to drain a horn. Generally this is not a problem for Thor but after 3 attempts he could not do it. He was tricked, you see, the tip of the horn was in the sea. It is said the the tides were created buy how much he drank that day! This horn honors the Thunderer's accomplishment. This a massive, genuine cowhorn holds at least 48 oz. but I'm guessing more! Hand engraved with a Thor's hammer surrounded by knotwork. As in the legend, the tip is below the waves where his great nemesis Jörmungandr awaits him. The runic inscription on the rim is in short twig runes and says "With his mighty thirst, he formed the tides." The stand is pine and says "Hail Thor." This horn is not recommended for hot liquids and not dishwasher safe. See pics for details and thanks for looking!
