HOUSING
Flame rated, UV stable, ABS thermoplastic
housing.
INSTALLATION
Snap-together quick mount design. Wall or
ceiling mounted. Mounts up to a standard 4"
square outlet box.
LAMP HEADS
Standard units contain 6 volt, 6 watt halogen
MR16 lamps. Semi-recessed eyeball style
lighting heads. Unit with the “H” option (for
higher output halogen lamps) will provide
greater illumination and will provide a
minimum of 90 minutes of emergency
illumination.
BATTERY: *NOT INCLUDED*.
Choice of 6-volt maintenance-free sealed lead
calcium with a service life of 5 years and an
operating temperature range of 65˚F (19˚C) to
85˚F (30˚C) or 6-volt maintenance-free
sealed nickel cadmium with a service life of
10 years and an operating temperature range
of 20˚F (-7˚C) to 95˚F (35˚C). Both provide a
minimum of 90 minutes emergency
illumination.
POWER CONSUMPTION
Maximum: 2.86 watts (.0237 ma)
Normal: 2.05 watts (.0171 ma) at 120 or 277
volts.
ELECTRONICS
All units are standard with Self Diagnostic/Self-Testing circuitry. The
Management System controls test parameters
within the embedded micro-controller to
verify that all system components are
functioning properly. This is accomplished by
using various system checks on a continuous
basis, as well as a hourly and monthly test.
Several manual tests can also be initiated or
cancelled at any time by pressing the test
switch. During automatic self-test or manual
test the green AC status indicator will flash.
Any malfunction is reported via the
appropriate external LED indicators. Xtest
complies with all the latest UL924 and NFPA
101 requirements for self-diagnostic/self testing operation. For complete details on
