This item is completely functional. Just got done using it to fix my carport. It uses a range of nails available at most large hardware stores. I included a small pack for reference. There are NO AIR LEAKS. It does use the nails with the paper wrap not plastic. This item is supported and has most if not all replacement parts available online. The only issue is the directional air exhaust part is broken. This only effects the direction of the air exhaust while nailing. Usually it will shoot the exhaust out the side. This part is very inexpensive and replaceable. If it every develops an air leak there are complete seal kits for less than .
